USB Type C – The hunt for the ultimate adapter

I just bought a Lenovo Yoga 900 (13″). I mean it’s light, bright orange, fast, 16gb ram, 500gb SSD, I7 6th generation. It’s not the fastest 6th gen i7 (might be the slowest?). Still at the weight, and lighness and build quality, it’s quite good. I had a Lenovo Yoga notebook before and loved it.

Anyhow this isn’t the point. There is but one problem: lack of Ethernet, lack of HDMI / VGA. But there is a USB Type C port, to the rescue! Now I need an adapter; preferably an adapter that does it all. So I searched on and found these…

(turn your ad-block off to see the links!)

USB-C to Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, USB-3 (50$)

USB-C to HDMI, USB-3 (25$ – 35$)

USB-C to ETHERNET, VGA, MicroSD, SD Card Readers, USB-3 (125$ — what?!?)

But 90% aren’t available in Canada. Fail :/

Finally bought this one (49$)
